Day 1: Tangier - Tetouan - Chefchaouen

Our driver will pick up you from your hotel and our 6-Day Desert Tour from Tangier starts driving through the stunning Rif mountains passing by the white city Tetouan. We continue to the charming blue city of Chefchaouen where we will discover the little blue town walking through its narrow streets and colourful souks. We will take many beautiful pictures through this blue world. You will have a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in the famous square”plaza uta el—hammam ”. Overnight in a hotel/Riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Fes

Today after breakfats , enjoy free program in medina of Chefchaouen. Then we will drive to Ouazanne and we explore Meknes city before we reach Fes while enjoying the landscapes of the rif mountain and idyllic scenery. Arrive in Fes in the late afternoon. Overnight in a hotel/Riad.

Day 3: Fes medina excursion

Today our 6-Day Desert Tour from Tangier continues and we’ll start the day exploring the oldest city in Morocco, snaking through its alleys and narrow streets. We’ll begin site-seeing at the Royal Palace gate, followed by the Jewish headquarter where the first Mellah ever was built in Morocco, during the 16th century. We’ll ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region. Day 4: Fes - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga

After breakfast we travel through the Middle Atlas mountains. We experience the Swiss mountain style ski village of Ifrane , then the cedar forests of Azrou. Stop for a lunch break and a chance to interact with the wild barbary monkeys. We continue to the city of Midelt, known as the centre of apple production in Morocco. We continue our journey towards the Ziz valley and Erfoud as the fossil capital of Morocco. We will arrive in Merzouga village, on the edge of Erg Chebbi, Morocco’s tallest sand dunes. Your camel guide will introduce you to your dromedaries. We will lead you on a camel ride into the heart of Erg Chebbi to our desert camp. After having dinner we try some Berber drumming if you like and then sleep in a traditional nomad tent.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert - Todra Valley - Dades Valley

We will make up early in the morning, to watch the best sunrise. After breakfast,we will continue to Tinghir, and we explore the stunning Todra Gorge the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley,where we will end our day,spending the night in a hotel,located in Dades valley.

Day 6: Dades Valley - Skoura - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

After breakfast our 6-Day Desert Tour from Tangier continues towards Kalaat Mgouna and the Route of 1000 Kasbahs ”. We’ll drive through “the city of roses”,which is known for the production of the rose water. We reach Skoura and Ouarzazate, called as “the Hollywood of Africa”. After lunch we explore the famous Ait Ben Haddou kasbah,(the UNESCO heritage site since 1987) and the largest Kasbah in Morocco,many movies have been filmed there, including The Mummy, Gladiator. We drive through the High Atlas Mountains, before arriving to Marrakech, where the tour ends.
