Day 1: Tangier - Tetouan - Chefchaouen

Our tour driver/ guide will pick you up from hotel and after we explore main sights in city of Tangier we departure to Chefchaouen. You will explore local medina. Its streets are painted in white and blue colours. The city offers visitors beautiful panoramas declining precious samples of local crafts. Free program afternoon. Overnight at hotel with dinner and breakfast.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Fes

Today after breakfast we drive to Fes , imperial city. It is also one of the first holy cities of Muslim worship in Morocco and also has the pride of hosting one of the oldest universities in the world. In afternoon you will have free program to relax and discover old medina .

Day 3: Fes medina excursion

We’ll start the day exploring Fes city with sites as the Royal Palace gate, followed by the Jewish headquarter where the first Mellah ever was built in Morocco, during the 16th century. We’ll visit best sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region. We’ll also visit the Tanneries, the Attarine museum, and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. Overnight in hotel in Medina of Fes.

Day 4: Fes - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga

Tour from Tangier continues after breakfast. We leave for Midelt through the Middle Atlas Mountains and the cedar woods. We pass Ifrane, best ski resort in Morocco and we visit Azrou an important handicraft centre in region. We stop at Midelt for lunch. Then we drive to Erfoud passing Ziz valley, we visit Rissani then we continue to Merzouga for dinner and overnight in local desert hotel.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert excursion with camel ride

After breakfast you explore best of Sahara desert in Merzouga, south Morocco. You will enjoy tour around the dunes of Erg Chebbi in 4×4 vehicle. We will visit village of Khamlia, famous for its Gnawa music. We will visit Berber nomads and we will have a lunch with them in desert. Later today we prepare for desert camel ride to reach desert camp in Merzouga desert. We will spend this night in Berber camp with drum music. You may climb the high dune to watch and enjoy the Merzouga desert sunset. We spend the night in nomad tents.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert - Todra Valley - Dades Valley

Today we will get up early to watch desert sunrise over the Merzouga dunes in Sahara. Then we make our way back by camels to Merzouga hotel for breakfast and shower. Later we drive to Todra gorge ,famous for rock climbers ,where we will enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch. We take a short walk through the gorge. Then we continue to Dades Valley where we stay for this night in traditional , comfortable riad with dinner.

Day 7: Dades Valley - Skoura - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

After breakfast , we explore the Dades Valley , we drive towards Kalaa M’gouna via the road of the thousand kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip .we will stop at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah for lunch, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains. It used to be one of his stops during his long travel from the Sahara to Marrakech., now the kasbah is one of the UNESCO heritage sites. after that we will shift the way to cross high Atlas Mountains till we reach Marrakech . We stay for this night in traditional , comfortable riad.

Day 8: Marrakech city Excursion

After breakfast you explore Marrakech called as ” the red city of Morocco”. We will ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palacel.  We will walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts. On the afternoon, you will have some free time to wonder by yourself the other parts of the city . End of 8-Day Merzouga Tour from Tangier.
